Meet the team that keeps Breakaway Golf League running week after week.

Breakaway Golf League was founded as a league where people can get together and enjoy the game of golf regardless of their skill level. The league focuses on friendships and fun while allowing people to track their progress and improve and grow at their own pace.
Scores are tracked so people can benchmark and set their own goals while also allowing several team play opportunities for friendly competition.
We chose Hidden Creek in Litchfield because it is one of the best kept courses around that gives both the new and the seasoned golfer a chance to utilize all of the clubs in their bag while still being forgiving enough to keep newer players from getting frustrated.

Director
Director of Social Media · Chief Statistician · King of the Cards
The Director makes everything tick behind the scenes so members can monitor their progress and archives those "once in a lifetime" shots so there is proof of their golfing prowess. This is a thankless job that truly goes mostly unnoticed yet provides endless conversations and the benchmarks for friendly competition and maybe a little ribbing.
The Cards
Week to week the Director logs scorecards and shares them with the league. Each scorecard is submitted at the end of each round and every Player's results are calculated and logged.
The Glory
Each week the closest to the pin winners on hole #3 and hole #7 win a cash prize. The results are captured by the Director including distances and frequency — giving boasting privilege and a monetary bounty that some have claimed paid for most of their season!
The Numbers
Known for his love of all things stats, Chris will break down the numbers, keep members up on their trends, and has a special knack when it comes to gambling. If you play your cards right, he may just let you in on which Keno numbers are hot.
The Director
Oversees the numbers, the weekly posts, and provides the data that is the backbone of the Breakaway Golf League. All team events and friendly competition rely on this to create parity, promote progress, and provide bragging rights.
Administrator
Administrator of Parity · Sultan of the Spreadsheet · Master of the Mean
The Administrator is crucial for all team events, assuring that teams are as "equal" as possible. Where money is on the line at all team events, this unenviable role dictates each team's composition.
Referencing the most recent data, the Administrator uses their mastery of numbers and tables to formulate teams that provide the greatest amount of parity. Their work is always scrutinized and creates friendly debate and speculation but as the Administrator says… "the numbers are the numbers".
The Spreadsheet
All Player season averages are put into a custom built worksheet that runs the data to produce teams with the smallest degree of statistical difference — or in non-math terms, teams with the greatest probability of providing the best parity.
The Administrator
Oversees the team creation for group events with the Commissioner. These events are designed to be fun and fair competitions where Players of all levels can participate, contribute, and have an opportunity for victory on the course and in the clubhouse.
